So I FINALLY know where I will be going on my Global Expeditions trip this summer... GOIN TO BAJA!!! Trip after trip that I have applied for has been cancelled but I have finally settled on a trip that will enable me to use my fluent spanish like crazy... ;) We will be able to build a house for a family who is in need, as well as put on a Vacation Bible School at a local park for kids in the area.
Regardless of where we go, it is important to have a servant's heart in everything that we say and do. In poverty-stricken places such as this, it is of the upmost importance that the love of Christ is shown by our actions and our genuine love for the people we are serving.
This is not just a requirement for my graduation, but an opportunity to change a family's life... and mine in the process...
Please be in prayer for this, and every other country that GE will be headed to this summer.
